Charleston

Chris and I celebrated our b-days this past week in Charleston. We had some fun with our new camera! This trip was a little different for us b/c I was so tired. We were in bed and watching TV at 9 pm every night. We're boring now! It was nice to relax away from home. We went to on a plantation tour, shopped, ate, road our bikes...The bike riding is one of my favorite things to do in Charleston, it makes you feel like a kid again. As you can see in one of the pics!  The tree in one of the pictures is about 900 years old. I fell in love with that tree. Yes, I'm a tree hugger! Those massive live oaks on the coast are one of my favorite things in the world. The peach colored hotel is where we stayed and Chris said we were "fancy" since they served wine and cheese every afternoon! (even if it was cheddar cheese cubes and cheap wine) We had a good time=)

Oh I'm so jealous! I love Charleston. I know exactly where you guys are. We have some friends that live in Finch Landing. We're off of Ethridge in Palmer Farms.

You didn't tell me you went on a plantation tour!!! Did you get to see slave quarters?
I love that last picture of Chris. You need to frame that!
